The starQuick® pipe clip is made for a maximum strength. The closed form of the clip and the starQuick® secured closing allow for a high load. The following table shows the minimum breaking load, established at a temperature of 20º C and a fixing with a woodscrew DIN 96 - Ø 4,5 mm.

The material
starQuick® pipe clips and most of the accessories are made from UV- and weather resistant Polyamide 6 - modified.
Polyamide 6 is applied for venerable fixing material in sanitary, hevac and electrical installations, such as pipe clips, cable clips, wall plugs, screws and nuts etc.
Polyamide may be judged as one of the most suitable thermoplastics for the application of pipe fixing in electrical, sanitary and hevac installations. Frequently used materials such as polypropylene and polystyrene have demonstrably poorer physical and chemical properties.
- High form hold at high temperatures.
- High resistance against chemicals, oils, greases, petrol, benzene, acetone, solvents for paint and lacquer (see also chemical resistance list)
- Temperature resistant from -40ºC till +90ºC.
- Fixing temperature till- 10ºC.
- Fire behaviour: UL 94-V2.
- High tensile strength.
- Low expansion.
- Colour: light grey RAL 7035 and white RAL 9003. Other colours on request.
